Micro Focus is working with Hälsingesintan of Sweden and TraceTracker of Norway to introduce the Ethical Meat concept across Europe. Combining the ethical raising and slaughtering of cattle, with complete end-to-end traceability, results in excellent animal welfare, tastier meat and higher yields and prices for farmers.

This concept is successfully running in Sweden and will launch in France  in 2017. It has resulted in 10% higher prices for farmers, while consumer demand has been unprecedented (30% cost premium). This demand is only expected to grow as consumers become increasingly aware of the importance of food traceability and the inherent risks in traditional food supply chains.
